The Greenville County Recreation District’s (Greenville Rec) mission it to be a leader in providing diverse, dynamic, and ever-improving recreational opportunities in a sustainable manner. Greenville Rec is a special purpose district governed by a seven member Board of Commissioners. The District was created in 1968 by the South Carolina legislature and is not a department of Greenville County Government. . The Board of Commissioners meets the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm at Greenville Rec’s administrative office located at 4806 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors, SC 29687. Citizens are encouraged to attend Commission meetings.

Unless otherwise noted, the Board of Commissioners meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Administrative Office, 4806 Old Spartanburg Rd., Taylors , SC 29687. The public is welcome to attend all meetings. Please call 864-288-6470 for additional information.
