Join us on March 29 for a multi-distance bike ride for cyclists of every level. Proceeds will benefit expansion and development of the Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail. Enjoy fun for the whole family with kids activities, food, and music.
There will be a 70 mile 40 mile ride from Gateway Park through northern Greenville County and a 10 mile out-and-back ride on the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail to Swamp Rabbit Station. These rides have a staggered start beginning at 8am, 9am, and 10am.
$40 entry fee gets you detailed queue sheets and route maps, stocked rest stops, a Ride T-shirt, lunch and post event celebration.
For mountain bikers of all ages, there will be several events held at Gateway Park this weekend (March 28-30).
All events are $15 each with the option of a $30 Weekend Pass for all entry in all events.
Friday, March 28th: Freak Bike Ride at 6pm at Sunrift Adventures
Dress up your bike and ride from Sunrift to downtown and back via the GHS Swamp Rabbit.
Saturday, March 29th: Kids Short Track Race 11:30am – 2:30pm at Gateway Park
Age groups will be broken down to the following classes; 6 and under, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, 13 to 14, and 15 to 16.
Saturday Evening, March 29th: CycloCross Race 4pm – 6pm at Gateway Park
Bring any bike it will be a fun course with all aspects of cross
Saturday Night, March 29th: After Party 7pm – Until at Sunrift Adventures
Bike Drag Race and a rocket fueled Bonfire free with an event registration
Sunday. March 30th: Skills De Quatro 10am – Until at Gateway Park
Come test your Mountain Bike skill with local riders in a true test of overall bike handling and fitness. On Sunday there will be four events that are on a point system. The most points at the end of the day determines winners in each class. You can use different bikes for different events.
1. Cross country time trial.
2. Pump track time trial. (Fastest lap times wins, penalties for pedaling)
3. Jumps time trial and style competition (Points awarded by volunteer judges)
4. Timed Trials course. (Fastest lap time wins, penalties for dabs)
