  Greenville County Recreation District (Greenville Rec) is a special purpose district created by the South Carolina legislature in 1968 and is not a department of Greenville County Government. Our mission is to be a leader in providing diverse, dynamic, and ever-improving recreational opportunities in a sustainable manner. Greenville Rec offers over 55 parks, trails, and recreation facilities for you to enjoy.

  - Greenville Rec manages over 55 parks and facilities throughout Greenville County including 8 community centers, 6 historic sites, 3 waterparks, an ice rink, an inline rink, a camp and retreat center, and a 17.5 mile rail-trail greenway.

The 66,000 square foot indoor complex located on Greenville’s eastside is open to the public year round.
