History of Butler Springs Park

Butler Springs was the first park developed by the Recreation District and opened in 1972. In 2005 the District upgraded this 10 acre facility and created a new entrance and landscaping making the park highly visible from the road. The tennis courts were resurfaced and a walking trail, new picnic pavilion, basketball court, and playground were added. The park also features lighted athletic fields.
