Furman Gatewood, a native Greenville resident, has been the manager at Mt. Pleasant Community Center since 1986. He is a graduate of North Greenville College and the Southern Baptist Seminary Extension Program. When Furman is not planning and supervising programs at Mt. Pleasant he serves as pastor of the Community Mission Baptist Church in Taylors.
