torch2resizedThis program offers supervised structured activities featuring “The TORCH” Program (Teaching our Remarkable Children Holistically) that provides tutoring and homework assistance for elementary age students. In addition after school participants may participate in: Partners & Pals, Greenville County Library Story Time, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, The Social-ettes and Social-ites, mentoring by the Phoenix Center, The Huddle, Jr. Leader Program, and programs offered by Greenville Organic Food Organization.

An After school Program, “The Huddle”, for middle school students combines education and recreation and features a computer lab, We Teach, Basic Family Life Skills and various other programs. Many thanks to Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital and Fourth Presbyterian Church for their sponsorship of “The TORCH”. Thanks also to the many volunteers from Fourth Presbyterian Church, Christ Church, and Furman University.

Registration for the After School Program is accepted throughout the year as space is  available.  Registration fee is $20. Monthly fee is $20 per child.  School District bus drop-off is available from Hollis Elementary and Sevier Middle Schools.

Summer Day Camps

The summer day camp program is now operated by the YMCA.  For more information please contact Giovanna Burgess at 864-382-2293.

Senior Citizen Programs

Senior Action of Greenville and GCRD provide congregate dining and programs for senior adults Monday – Friday.  Activities include arthritis exercise classes, Bible study, crafts, mental Mondays, healthy Tuesdays, field trips, daily lunches and much more.
