Greenville Foothills Pony Club

Greenville Foothills Pony Club, comprised currently of 41 members from the NC/SC counties of Polk, Greenville, Spartanburg, Pickens, Anderson, Laurens and Oconee, is a chapter of the United States Pony Club. Members range in age from 10 to 24, with the following ratings represented: D1, D2, D3, C1, C2, HB, C3, H, B, A. GFPC holds monthly meetings and a summer camp that incorporate mounted and unmounted instruction, and are active regionally (clinics, rallies–Quiz, Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing), nationally (USPC Championships, USPC Visiting Instructor Program) and internationally (USPC Exchange Program).

The mission of the United States Pony Clubs is to develop character, leadership, confidence, and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding, and mounted sports. GFPC
members strive to develop the USPC motto attributes of Sportsmanship, Stewardship, and Leadership through Horsemanship.
