Matt Whirley
Pavilion Programs Coordinator

Bio: I am a recent graduate of Clemson University. At Clemson, I was the captain of the Ice Hockey Team for three years, where I played alongside fellow coach Jim Lazorik. I grew up outside of Burlington, Vermont, where I started playing hockey when I was 5 years old. I played Midget AAA, Junior B, and College Hockey along the way. I currently oversee the Learn to Play Ice Hockey Program and the Adult Hockey Leagues at the Pavilion.
Brian Brandon
USA Hockey Credentials: Level IV
Years Coaching: 4
Bio: Growing up in Kitchener, Ontario, I started playing hockey at the age of nine. For the next 12 years, I played at the grade school level, high school, two years in College, and two years with the Army Reserves. In 2000, I was transferred to Greenville, where I began coming to the Pavilion for public skating. I met some great people at the Pavilion and ended up working with the Learn To Play Ice Hockey program.
Don Dicomo
USA Hockey Credentials: Level IV

Bio: Growing up in the Detroit area, I played travel hockey from the age of 9 and continues to play in the Greenville Adult League. I began coaching Detroit area youth hockey in 2000 as a Level II coach in the Pee Wee age group until 2003 becoming a coach in the Bantam Age group in the Little Caesar Organization. I have been coaching at Level III in the Greenville Hockey association since 2006 at the Bantam Age group and have advanced my coaching credentials to Level IV in the spring of 2009.
Jim Lazorik
USA Hockey Credentials: Level I

Bio: I grew up in Pennsylvania, where I started playing hockey at the age of 3. I have played travel, high school, and college hockey through the years. I played for Clemson University for three years, where I played alongside fellow coach Matt Whirley. I currently play in the Greenville Adult Leagues.
John Chesare
USA Hockey Credentials: Level III
Years Coaching: 8
Bio: I am looking forward to becoming a Level IV Certified Coach this Fall. I have eight years of Coaching experience including four years at the Pee Wee level in Oswego, NY, and four years at the Mite and Squirt levels in Greenville. I have been involved in organized hockey for 35 years. I played Youth, High School and Division III hockey in New York.
Paul Bono
USA Hockey Credentials: Level I
Years Coaching: 10
Bio: I am a level III certified official and have been officiating for more than 15 years. I have been involved in hockey through playing, officiating, and coaching for more than 30 years. I was the league director for The Hockey Academy for two years and I’ve been coaching for more than 10 years.
Ken Luis

Bio: I have coached in the Learn to Play Program for six years. I have also coached the Mite and Squirt House Program for three years. I currently play in the Greenville Adult Hockey Leagues and have been involved for nine years. I am also a former USA Hockey Certified ice hockey official.
Jeff Reynolds

Bio: I am a USA Hockey Level III referee. I have been refereeing at all levels for 17 years. I have 35 years of playing experience. I currently play in the Greenville Adult Hockey Leagues.
