Starguard Lifeguard Training Course

This course offers participants the opportunity to receive a 1 year Lifeguard certification, which includes CPR/AED Pro and First Aid. Participants MUST BE ABLE TO PASS the pre-requisite swimming skills evaluation in order to be eligible to participate in the lifeguard course.  Participants should bring suitable swimsuit (girls – no 2 piece bathing suit) towel, $35 Starguard book fee, and balance of course fee the night of pretest swimming skills evaluation. Classes fill quickly, so enroll early!!! Lifeguard Prep

Westside Aquatic Complex offers Lifeguard Preparation classes to help you get ready for the Lifeguard Certification Course. You will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a Lifeguard Instructor who will coach you through the skills required in the pre-requisite session. The cost is $25 for one 40 minute session. Sessions are by appointment only. Missed appointments will not be refunded. Appointments may only be rescheduled outside of 24 hours from the time of the appointment. American Safety and Health Institute CPR / AED / First Aid

Offering CPR/AED Workplace, CPR/AED PRO, First Aid, & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications.

Learn how to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies.  Be prepared to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
