A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES IN ONE GREAT SUMMER!!!

Summer care is fun and active with Greenville County Rec. During a typical week, campers will: swim, play games, complete arts & crafts projects, and take a field trip. Field trips will include visits to Greenville Rec Waterparks and other local attractions. All field trips are included in your fee. Lunch and afternoon snack are provided daily.

Campers will continue to work on life skills learned during the academic year: flexibility, initiative, social skills, productivity, and leadership.  However, lessons will be practiced in a safe, fun, relaxed atmosphere called CAMP.  Campers will participate in a variety of activities from sports & games, arts & crafts, special events, recreational and educational field trips, motivational speakers and much more.  In addition, our weekly swimming field trips will include 7th Inning Splash, Discovery Island, and Otter Creek Water Parks.

A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES IN ONE ENDLESS SUMMER!!!

Teens will participate in a variety of activities, workshops, and events that will work on eight (8) core life and career skills:  communication, food, money, clothing, at-home, general maintenance (car, home, etc.), career development, and community service.  Teens will learn everyday life skills to help them become happy, productive adults in a safe, fun and relaxed environment.  Teens will learn to become self-sufficient before they head off to college, military, or the work force.  Students will continue to participate in a variety of recreation activities as well, such as sports & games, arts & crafts, special events, recreational and educational field trips, motivational speakers and much more.  In addition, our weekly swimming field trips will include 7th Inning Splash, Discovery Island, and Otter Creek Water Parks.

Greenville Rec is honored to be a “Partner in Prevention” with the Darkness to Light – Stewards of Children Training Program which teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.  All Greenville Rec full-time and part-time program staff are trained in this program.
