To prepare participants to give care for potentially life-threatening emergencies in a delayed-help situation, the Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid course covers the following:

Head (Brain), Neck, and Spinal Injuries
Bone and Joint Injuries
Allergies and Anaphylaxis
Wounds and Wound Infection

You will receive an emergency reference guide for use in the course, as well as a pocket field guide.
