Lake Conestee Nature Park is one of the greatest natural resources in South Carolina. This week-long camp will include exploration of nearly all the 400+ acres that the park encompasses as we study the “kitchen,” herpetology, ecosystems, and the watershed.
Guest Speakers will include visits from Greenville County Soil & Water Conservation District, Greenville County Litter Prevention Program and Greenville County Recycling. Trips will include an interpretative ecology hike with a park ranger at Table Rock State Park, exploring the park and climbing the alpine tower at Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center, a visit to Climb Upstate and cooling off at Greenville Rec’s own Discovery Island Water Park!
