Over 1,200 athletes and 2,500 volunteers!

The Special Olympics program offers training and competition in 15 different sports. .Two full-time Greenville County Rec staffers direct these programs with help from hundreds of community volunteers.  There are no fees for Special Olympics programs. Want to Participate or Volunteer? Get Involved!

Want to volunteer?  Complete the Volunteer Application Form and return it to the SOG office. No sport knowledge is boyneeded,  just a desire to serve. .

Special Olympics Volunteer Form .

Want to participate?  Have a medical doctor complete the Medical Form, a parent or guardian complete the Athlete Release Form, and return them to the SOG office.  Athletes must by 8 years of age or older to participate. .
