The trailhead is located at shelter #1 parking area. Please visit the trail kiosk prior to using the trails for updates on trail conditions and directional information. The trail is mostly smooth-rolling, hard-packed single track. It is interspersed with a few rock gardens and contains a few tight off-camber switchbacks. Please note that hikers are asked to yield to bikes on the JFA trail.
