Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat that gets you out into nature, seeking adventure, or need a special place to hold an event, Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center can accommodate your needs.  We offer a beautiful natural setting with a wide variety of amenities and opportunities: adventure programs, hiking, traditional camp activities, lodging, dinning and meeting spaces.

Lodging and Dining

Cabins Our cabins are bunk style cabins with restrooms and central heating and air conditioning.

Single Cabins can accommodate up to 20 persons using top and bottom bunks.

Double Cabins can accommodate up to 40 persons using top and bottom bunks.

Fees: Single Cabin (1-10 guests)  $425 first night, then $340 per night.   Additional guest fee is $35 per person.

Double Cabin (1-20)  $850 first night, then $680 per night.  Additional guest fee is $35 per person.

Dining

Luttrell Lodge Our dining hall will accommodate up to 220 persons and features a fireplace, stage, projector and screen, two flat screen televisions and audio system.  All meals are served in Luttrell Lodge. (Meal times: breakfast 8:00 am, lunch 12:00 pm and dinner 6:00 pm)

Fees are per person; breakfast $11.30, lunch $12.35, dinner $15.70 and snacks/smores $3.90

Meeting Spaces

Luttrell Lodge affords our guests several different options to address dinning needs as well as meeting and gathering space.  Depending on setup, this space can accommodate as few as 10 and as many as 200.
Fees:  $2,575 per day

Fireside Hall is a beautiful open-air facility with a large stage, audio/visual system, restrooms, canteen, craft area, and fireplace and seats 125.

Fees: $1,910 per day

Cabins when not used for lodging may be configured for meeting space. The open gathering spaces provide a great space for small groups to gather.

Double Cabins can seat up to 25 people conference style.  Large cabins feature a small kitchenette, restrooms, and deck space.

Fees: $280 per 8 hr block

Single Cabins offer the same amenities as our large cabins and are ideal for groups up to 15 people.

Fees: $180 per 8 hr block

Lounge is an ideal meeting setting for small groups of 10 to 16 people.  It features a small kitchenette, restroom, pool table, and flat screen television.

Fees:  $180 per 8 hr block

Adventure Program

The Know Boundaries Challenge Course is an amazing combination of ropes, logs, cables, platforms and games offering mental and physical challenges to people of all ages and abilities.  Participants are challenged to push their own limits through a philosophy known as “Challenge by Choice.”  The course offers a different approach to education, counseling, recreation, and life that is engaging, active and challenging.  The impact of this approach is felt strongly within the entire group, and cohesion and cooperation can be achieved with surprising speed.

Team Development Small Group uses our outside-the-box approach to team development, combining a variety of challenges and games that will bring your group together.

Fees:  up to 20 people; $310.00 for up to 3 hours.

Team Development Large Group uses the outside-the-box approach with the super-size option added.

Fees: 40+; $650.00 for up to 4 hours.

Team Development Course is more suited for adult or older youth groups; looking to develop communication and trust skills.

Fees: groups of up to 12; $425.00 for up to 4 hours.

Climbing and High Ropes please contact us for more information about our climbing and high ropes programs.  Our staff will assist you in building the most effective program for your group.

Alpine Tower: $480.00 for up to 2 hours.

Giant Swing: $342.00 for up to 2 hours

Zip-Line: $600.00 for up to 2 hours

High Ropes and Zip Line: $815.00 for up to 4 hours

Special Events

Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center is an ideal location to host a special event; weddings, wedding receptions, family reunions, church outings, and other group functions. Please note that we are an alcohol free facility.

Luttrell Lodge is a beautiful 4,000 square foot facility that seats 220 for dining or 250 conference style; and features indoor and outdoor fireplaces, stage, projector and screen, four flat screen televisions and an audio system.

Fireside Hall is a beautiful 3,500 square foot open- air facility that seats 125.  It features a large stage, restrooms, canteen, craft area, and fireplace, projector and screen, two flat screen televisions and audio system.

JFA Trail

This trail is dedicated to Jorge Francisco Arango, a generous man, awesome mountain biker, dog lover, and best friend to many. His friends and family along with JFA Foundation, Upstate SORBA volunteers, and Greenville County, built this trail so that others may enjoy his favorite sport and his love for friends and dogs.

Description

The trailhead is located at shelter #1 parking area. Please visit the trail kiosk prior to using the trails for updates on trail conditions and directional information. The trail is mostly smooth-rolling, hard-packed single track. It is interspersed with a few rock gardens and contains a few tight off-camber switchbacks. Please note that hikers are asked to yield to bikes on the JFA trail.

Rules of the Trail

  • Ride or hike open trails only.
  • Leave no trace. Ride or hike dirt, not mud trails.
  • Control your bicycle.
  • Yield to others. Hikers please yield to bikers.
  • Never scare animals. Respect all wildlife.
  • Plan ahead.
  • Please follow directional patterns.
  • Dogs must be leashed.

Park Hours of Operation

March – October 8:00 am – 9:00 pm

November – February 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Night Riding: until 10pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
