History of Odessa Street Garden
The Odessa Street Garden, in the Sterling Community, was spearheaded by community advocate Peggy Baxter who donated the property for the garden and garnered support from partners including Greenville Rec, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, the Greater Greenville Master Gardeners, Long Branch Baptist Church, and Trees Greenville. The garden provides residents with freshly grown produce and is maintained by area residents with support from Seniors on the Go.
